Larina Kase, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist specializing in anxiety, confidence, and skills training including assertiveness, time and stress management, and performance enhancement (in school, sports, public speaking, or work).She sees children, teens, and adults at The Children’s Center for OCD and Anxiety, which she joined in 2005 after serving on clinical faculty at The Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania, where she trained with Dr. Edna Foa who is credited with developing the exposure and response prevention treatments for OCD. Dr. Kase also enjoys providing parent coaching and collaboration services with schools and other treatment providers. From a family of artists and athletes Larina enjoys incorporating creativity and sports metaphors into her work as they fit for her patients.
Dr. Kase is the author of Anxious 9 to 5, The Confident Leader (which is about how to turn anxiety and indecision into optimal energy), and the coauthor of the New York Times bestseller The Confident Speaker. She completed her Bachelor of Science with Distinction at Cornell University, Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) at Wright State University, and her predoctoral internship at The University of Rochester School of Medicine.
